Brooklyn based graffiti artist Josh ‘Stash’ Franklin is no stranger when it comes to Nike collaborations. Having worked on numerous Air Force Ones– with one even beating out the Mr. Cartoon AF1 and crowned champion at Nike’s 25th anniversary party for the Air Force One– along with other Nike Air products including an Air Max BW and an Air Spiridon, Stash’s Nike collaborations are viewed as crowned jewels amongst collectors.
Part of a two shoe ‘Blue Pack’, released alongside the aforementioned Air Force One, Stash’s Air Max 95 is likely on every Air Max enthusiast’s list of top 95’s ever. Like Stash’s Air Max BW, the sneaker’s upper is outfitted in Nike’s Storm-FIT technology making it water resistant. The shoe also featured the first speckled midsole on an Air Max 95 ever, paying homage to graffiti culture.
Looking at StockX’s resale data, we can see quite a bit of fluctuation in prices for Stash’s Air Max 95 with prices ranging from $300 to $500. At the time of this post, there are 8 pairs of Stash’s Air Max 95s for sale on StockX with the lowest ask being a size 8 for $699. However, buyers beware as Stash himself said that his pair blew out on him when he tried to wear them on Air Max Day in 2017– a common occurrence for Air Max shoes of this age.
